Patrick--Posted on Cruise Critic's Barcelona board 12-27-2011---Thanks again----Fred Nov. 26, 2011 we did a five hour tour to Montserrat from our ship docked in Barcelona. Our tour guide was Patrick from Barcelona Tour Guides. It was the second time I had been on a tour with Barcelona Tour Guides & again the tour was outstanding.
We started with a drive through Barcelona, when a scenic drive to Montserrat and visited the Santa Maria Benedictine Basilica, and its grounds, the chamber of the Black Madonna all narrated wonderfully by Patrick. Again, just like the first time, a wonderful tour by Barcelona Tour Guides .

Just a note to send praises to your company for our excellent experience with the guides on our recent trip.
We were in Barcelona two days before our cruise (end of July) and in Rome three days at end of cruise (Aug.)
The drivers were always on time & very helpful with luggage and transportation. The tours with them were fantastic.
The guide in Barcelona was excellent & knowledgeable on any question we threw his way. He also knew the oldest and best restaurant in Barcelona for lunch. He guided us through the menu to choose the Paella for all of us. Very fun!!!! Guided us through the history of Gaudi.
We appreciate the services provided by your company. It certainly makes travel much easier.

I wanted to thank you and Guillem for the excellent tour yesterday. We presented him with many challenges and he handled them all with excellence.
We saw all of the sites we hoped to see. Guillem had to work around our late start, starting from a different location, an elderly woman who needed to walk slow and tired quickly, two teenagers who wanted to go fast so they could go shopping and one adult who wanted to take many pictures of all of the sites.

Thanks so much for arranging such a good tour of Barcelona for us on May 28th.  Monica went far beyond the call of duty in making a lot of phone calls for us about our lost luggage.  She was also an excellent guide is showing us what we wanted to see, etc.
  Please tell Monica that five of us received our luggage on board the ship the day we left port.  We called our tour agent in Arkansas and she helped locate the lost piece of luggage (it was in Madrid) and it was shipped to Livorno and we received it on the ship there.

We so enjoyed our day with you to the Dali extravaganza. You gave us a new understanding of the man and his works. I will look at his art in the future with educated eyes. The current exhibit at the Guggenheim is a retrospective of the Surrealism movement. Our day with you and our visits to the Picasso and Miro museums were brought together by this terrific exhibit.

I would recommend you to anyone who is desiring any type of tour of Barcelona. All of the other tours that we took throughout Europe were OK, but none had as good as equipment nor were they as well conducted as the ones that you conducted for us in Barcelona.

The tours that we took were the City bus tour, the walking tour of Old town, the Montserrat tour and the Cordineu wine tour.
