A high-level attraction standing at 1,200 feet elevation!

Designed by Norman Foster and built on the occasion of the 1992 Olympic Games, Collserola Tower has become quite a towering landmark of Barcelona.

Rising from 1,459 ft (445 m) elevation, it reaches up to 880 ft (268 m) above ground. It has a viewing gallery on the 10th level offering impressive views. A panoramic elevator does the 440 ft (135 m) climb in 2.5 minutes. As it faces Barcelona, the climb is one of the highlights of the visit. On clear days, visibility reaches 126 miles (70 km) in all directions.

It can be reached by cab or public transport from Catalunya Square (FGC lines to Sabadell / Terrassa; stop Peu del Funicular): Then a Funicular ride to Vallvidrera where you hop on city bus 111.

The viewing gallery may close in case of bad weather.
