It occupies the former charity house building "Pia Almoina", standing to the left of the Cathedral. Part of the building was part of the Roman wall, which still can be seen.

It is another occasion to enjoy medieval (gothic period) oil painting on wood, a technique widely diffused in Catalonia and which occupied a prominent place in medieval times.

We are sure you´ll not miss the door: a modern art work whose challenging commitment was to catch the passers-by attention but also to blend well into the austere medieval style of the building.
